Our Booking Conditions
1. Introduction & Acceptance
By making a booking through our website, you (the “Client”, “you” or “traveller”) agree to be bound by these Booking Conditions. These conditions, together with your booking confirmation and invoice, form the contract between you and Globalsafar Travels (“we”, “us” or “our”). You must read these conditions carefully as they are legally binding.
2. Contract Formation
A binding contract exists only once we have issued a written booking confirmation and received the required payment from you. We reserve the right to refuse any booking at our discretion.
3. Prices & Payment
All prices quoted are subject to availability and may change until full payment has been received.
Balance payments must be received by the due date specified in your booking confirmation. If full payment is not received when due, we may treat your booking as cancelled.
All payments must be made in the currency stated on your invoice using accepted payment methods. Any bank fees or currency conversion charges are your responsibility.
4. Travel Documents
It is your responsibility to ensure you and all members of your party hold valid passports, visas, permits, and travel documents required for all destinations included in your itinerary. We provide general guidance but are not liable for delays, denial of entry, fines or other expenses incurred due to incomplete documents.
5. Insurance
You must obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, repatriation, baggage loss, and other relevant risks. It is your responsibility to ensure the policy covers your itinerary and any activities booked.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
Any cancellation must be communicated in writing.
Cancellation fees may apply and will be calculated from the date written notice is received. These fees can range up to 100% of the total booking price depending on the timing relative to departure and supplier policies.
Deposits and service fees are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
7. Amendments
If you request changes to your booking after confirmation:
We will make reasonable efforts to assist subject to supplier availability and fees.
Amendments may incur additional charges from both suppliers and us.
Changes close to the departure date may be treated as cancellations and attract full cancellation charges.
8. Transfers
You may transfer your booking to another person who meets all conditions of the original contract, provided we receive written notice in advance and any supplier transfer fees/payment obligations are met.
9. Supplier Changes, Delays & Cancellations
We act as an agent for travel suppliers and do not control their performance. Suppliers may change schedules, routes, accommodation, transport or cancel services due to reasons including but not limited to operational needs, weather, strikes, political events, health advisories or force majeure. We will inform you where possible but are not liable for supplier changes beyond our control.
10. Liability
We act as an agent unless otherwise specified. Our responsibility is to organise bookings; we are not the owner/operator of travel services.
Except where prohibited by applicable law, we are not liable for loss, damage, injury, or delay resulting from acts or omissions of suppliers, third parties, or events beyond our control.
Liability for direct losses may be limited to the value of the travel services involved.
11. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate information at the time of booking.
Comply with all supplier regulations and the laws of destination countries.
Arrive at departure points on time and follow itinerary instructions.
12. Special Requests
Requests (dietary, room preferences, seating etc.) must be communicated at booking. While we will pass these to relevant suppliers, we cannot guarantee they will be met.
13. Data Protection
We will collect and process personal information as necessary to manage your travel booking. Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for failure to perform any obligation due to unforeseen events beyond our control (natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, war, etc.).
15. Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where your contract is formed. Any dispute will be subject to the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
